Extinction

A few years after the American civil war, a member of parlament in Washington came to an interesting conclusion. “The cost of killing a bison is equal to that of killing a native. In other words: kill the bison and you also erase the natives and because they were dependend on bisons for their food, the poor natives starved to death.

This inhuman tragedy took place and hundreds of Bison killers, within 30 years, killed the natives aswell as the bisons, to the point of extinction trough starvation or to be slaved by the white man.

Square kilometers were covered by dead bisons . Only the hides were taken and the remanings where left for the wolves and vultures.

Decades later , bones were transported to factories to be powdered for fertilizer.
